I've never been grounded. My parents are usually really laid back, even about grades. As long as they're content that we're doing our best and staying out of trouble, my parents are pleased.

I do have somewhat of a curfew. I can't really be out after 10 on school nights, and I'm kinda free to stay up to whenever I want on weekends, but I can't be out alone and I'm definitely not allowed to drink or party. Usually, if I do go out, I hang at a friend's house, go to the mall, or am somewhere with my boyfriend, whom they trust, so once again, usually not an issue here.

Though, my sister used to get in trouble a lot, and they went so far as to nail her window shut and tie a string to her doorknob so she couldn't sneak out at night. My parents aren't really lax with rules, I just never do anything to get in trouble.

When I was a little kid, I used to get spankings, then when I was about 12-15 I got grounded. I don't get punished now-a-days because I don't do anything really that bad. When I do stay out too late or something, though, I get yelled at. There is no really punishment, luckily. The longest I got grounded for was a week when I was 13 for some distasteful magazines. ;-)

i got grounded for 2 weeks for "talking back to my mom"

i'm a good kid though, I don't drink or do drugs, and just hang out with my friends on weekends, but because of the MA driving laws, (can't be driving past 12:30), my curfew is like 11:30

lol im still grounded i got grounded in early January 2020 and I’m still grounded till this day so I’ve basically been grounded for 1 year and still counting the orgininal reason I was grounded was bc of my grades from 9th and 10th grade I’m in 11th and have a 4.125 GPA and I’m still grounded for talking back to my parents
