Hahaha. One time, after an epic game of Never-Ever-Have-I-Ever during Bio, one girl had negative 69, whereas I had zero. XD But that was freshman year; I've um... grown a lot. Lol.

Baelor, It is funny when I play 10 fingers. I always do really well unless I am playing with people that know me...then, I get out very quickly.

Anyone reminded by this thread title of a show called "Recess" that was popular a half dozen years back?

I forget the channel but there was always this group of girls whose word for any marginally abnormal occurrence would be "scandalous"... :p

^ Lol, I guess I missed that show. Oh darn. ;)

I should BitTorrent that show.

Most Scandelous: In 8th grade, this retarded teacher wasn't letting me go to the bathroom. We weren't in class, we were outside watching a softball game to celebrate the end of the year. There was absolutely no reason to prevent me from using the bathroom, as I had been quietly studying the entire time. Following the teachers refusal, I went up to my guidence counselor who also happened to be there watching the game and asked her if I could go to the bathroom, her answer was the same. I gave her the middle finger when I thought she wasn't looking and got in trouble.

the end.

i stole the cookies from the cookie jar

^^^ Disney used to show it every single summer. I loved that show.

ASC - haha I know, he and I both thought it wasn't such a bad thing to do, but I assumed here on CC some people might go into shock...

And of course now I want to know what your post used to say before it was edited... rawr :[

Well, they had my post to distract them from yours lol....

Look at the comments below it about our ages. You'll get the idea :/ lol

Oh well, even your ages aren't that bad. :]

You could never tell by looking at him haha (at least, by the picture I first saw!). In fact, he was the first African American guy I was EVER even remotely attracted to! And, he didn't know how old I was or what I looked like when he initiated things (I had a picture of someone else on my second page of my profile,[this like 40 year old lady] and he later said that he thought that was me LOL), and we didn't meet on a dating or social networking site. After a few weeks I was like "whoa whoa whoa I'd better explain things!!!" Even though he was shocked, he was fine with it :) And so it goes.....

Lol, well my guy knew how old I was, etc stuff like that. And he doesn't seem that old really. Plus everyone thinks I'm older, so I didn't think it was a big deal at all.

:| Why is a young girl with an older guy so...taboo?

In our cases, there's a BIG age difference lol.
(23 and 11 year differences)

And the stereotype is for perverted old dudes to be with young girls (not the case with either of us) so.... :-/

Yeah, I think that the stereotyping is ridiculous. I know there are some times when that could be the case, but why is it such a huge deal? Both parties are consenting, so it shouldn't cause a problem IMO.

Plus back in the "day" realllllly old guys used to marry like 14 year olds. lol. Not that I would agree to that at 14, but still.

Whoooooaaa that's a little too much for me lol.

In that case, I can understand a young girl being attracted to an older guy (heck, my longest/biggest crush ever was on my teacher who was 12 years older than me) but I canNOT see why an unperverted older guy could be attracted to a young girl who's hardly hit puberty.

Then again, I'm one of those hawkish feminists, so.... :-/

Just my 2 cents :)

I don't agree with the "reallllly old guys [who] used to marry like 14 year olds" at all, but it still used to happen all the time, and it was viewed as being normal. But that makes me wonder why it's such a big deal now for people with 10+ year age difference.

Heck, Catherine Zeta-Jones is 25 years younger than her husband Michael Douglas and nobody freaks out over that! Lol.

In some ways, I see intolerance of age difference (branding men in relationships with much-younger but post-pubescent girls as "pedophiles") as similar to intolerance of homosexuality. People often have no reason for looking down upon it but that it's "gross." Sound familiar?

Of course, there is a natural reason for people to be intolerant of actual pedophiles who act on their feelings, because these are the men who take advantage of girls too young to protest -- this can be universally branded as immoral. But older men and intelligent, post-pubescent younger girls? This is a consenting, adult relationship.
