I've been caught twice, both sophomore year:

The first time my teacher walked past me copying homework off my friend.

The second time the SAME teacher noticed I had plagarized a homework off Sparknotes. Dumb, I know. But they were 5 point assignments so I didn't think it would be a big deal.

Well, I learned my lesson and I never cheated again.

So, has anyone else been caught cheating? I've seen kids get their FINALS ripped up because they were cheating. So scary. Also, I remember some girl on here posted about being caught cheating on her SAT!!! :O

How the hell do you cheat on an SAT?
And for me, the most is copying chemistry homework of the internet. I don’t think it’s too bad, because that’s honestly how I learn. Plus, we get graded for just doing the homework, not for how well we did it.

My Psych teacher from 10th grade had no idea that everyone cheated on everything he did. I actually studied to try and learn, but it was so bad.

Last year in Stats honors, some girl who literally fails every test decided to cheat and get 100. The teacher obviously caught on and since she was a senior, he was nice, and didn’t give her a referral or send her to the office. But the next class we all had to do the test again, and he added like 30 problems to an already 20 problem test, so it took us the entire class to finish.

We’re set the task for Spanish writing in advance, so we can write and learn something. My friend copied out her’s onto some paper to copy off in the assessment. Then she was stupid enough to leave these in the dictionary. The next girl who had the dictionary snitched and got my friend in a lot of trouble.
I’ve cheated, in very minor things, quite a lot but never been stupid enough to be caught.

bl4ke360: everyone cheats in my spanish class. It’s crazy. During a test I’ll look around and EVERYONE has their phones out. It’s because my teacher is blind.

marshmallowpop: Apparently she went to the bathroom and had someone text her answers to questions she didn’t know, which is ridiculous and a waste of time. She didn’t even go into the stall so a teacher saw her.

& I do that too sometimes for my chem HW.

wigglechoo: That girl was a little dumb, haha. Even being in the honors class in the first place was a bad choice for her.

& that sucks how you guys had to retake the test :/

I’ve never been caught cheating off someone else, but people have been caught cheating off of me (both of us got 0s). I’ve been caught talking about a test once, but didn’t get punished (teacher was mad though).

Last year, a girl from our school was expelled for cheating first on a practice AP test (for a grade in the class) and then on the subsequent ACTUAL AP test.

In my AP Chem class we get a ton of Take–home quizzes/tests that are worth a lot and we all check our answers and thus get 100’s and then get like C’s on the tests so my chem teacher accuses us of cheating. But they’re take-home anyway so she actually doesn’t really care.
I always cheat in History on reading checks which are mini 10 pt quizzes b/c I sit next to 2 really smart guys. But I’ve never been caught.
I never cheat in math. I have in French but almost never.

A lot of people cheated their way into French Honor Society in my class. My teacher, who taught French 1-3, was very old and oblivious and would often give answers. I didn’t want to get in by cheating but unfortunately had a terrible grade in freshman year that is stopping me from getting in.

When there’s a test in a particular class, specifically math, kids at my school who already took the test tell other kids who hadn’t taken it the test questions. I’ve never seen anyone get punished for doing that, but just about everyone does it. Also, my AP Euro teacher steals all of his assignments and tests from the internet, so a few people in that class just copy the answers from the web, instead of doing their work. Last year, everyone in my physics class cheated on the test/quizzes by keeping their notes under their desks during the test, and never got punished because the teacher didn’t care at all.

^Oh yeah everyone tells each other also.
The APUSH teacher at my school takes all his quizzes from one specific website then posts the link to that website on the class page. I don’t know if he realizes though.

Our valedictorian was caught cheating with no consequences whatsoever. (She had the freaking test on her person and they said there wasn’t any evidence… ridiculous.)
Also, she’s a terrible person. Not because she cheated, but just because she thinks she’s God’s gift to humanity.
She also was allowed to run for president of National Honor Society… no one voted for her, of course.

lol gosh, are we all a bunch of cheaters here?

I’ve never been caught cheating (knock on wood!) But in AP Euro, we can use section notes on our tests, but sometimes we have to do like 15-20 pages of section questions and I don’t really have the time, so I just use my sister’s section questions from like 4 years ago lol. He never changes the tests or questions on the section, so it’s easy to cheat. I mean come on, He’s had the same exact material since 2006! And once during one of our big semester finals in AP Euro, we had a 200 word vocab test and my friend sat behind me and I would whisper a number and she’d whisper back the vocab word.

Never have been caught cheating or cheat on tests and quizzes. I guess I cheat when I search for chemistry answers online when I don’t understand the problem or know how to do it. My homework is graded on accuracy not completion.
