Harvard only requires 2 now but if I take 3 tests then will one with the lowest score be discarded?

Harvard will consider additional tests if you send more. I doubt, however, that the additional considerations would be used for anything except the applicant’s benefit.

They consider them, but they only pay the most attention to your highest 2 scores. It’s like superscoring with the subject tests.

lucky for me since I bombed the world history sat subject test my sophomore year

I’m only applying with 2

belly,

Why don’t you simply not send the bad World History score?

Does it help your case to do 3 subject tests, instead of the 2 they require (say for example, if you got high scores on all of them - or will they only consider the top 2 subject tests you send in)?

^ As I indicated in post #2, additional good scores work in your favor.

because Im applying to other universities, not just Harvard and some dont have score choice

Indeed my previous question was to you, so I’m glad you an answered it :)

I have a host of diverse subjects at A-level (our equivalent to the US AP’s) and was thus wondering if there is any advantage in doing 3 SAT subjects as opposed to the 2 recommended. I’ve looked on the Harvard website and it just says 2 are required (and not crucially that any more subject tests will be considered in your favour).

Just wondering how much of an advantage 3 subject tests will give, as there is no point if its negligible :S
