<p>S called the help desk yesterday to get his ID, and after providing name address, SSN, etc. to the the tech support person, she said “there is no ID on file, you didn’t provide your email address to the admissions office.” (Incorrect) He emailed the admissions office with identifying information and asked for the ID. Got the message that he’d have to call. Catch-22 (run right out and rent that video if you haven’t seen it).</p>

<p>S may be the only applicant who has to wait for snail mail, caught in an endless loop with the NSA-like admissions office.</p>

<p>Arrrgh! I'm sorry for your son!! Hopefully he'll get a nice, thick evelope from Brown, and then it'll be worth it!</p>

<p>You know, for such an awesome school, the admissions office is really disappointing.</p>

<p>False alarm - found the Brown letter - now in the same situation with Yale. S and I are both disorganized!</p>
