I'm posting this ad to get to know some of what you are afraid of or uneasy about when it comes to starting at college.

I mean while still living at home and going to college, not moving out, because we all know that that will be stressful.

But when it comes to going to community college or another college, what's your biggest fear that you have?

I'll tell you mine. When i started, I was afraid of not knowing where to go and also that I wouldn't know anybody in my class and that I would feel embarassed or isolated.

I'll be going to community college for full time dual enrollment for my senior year. I'll be seeing my friends and girlfriend much less so I don't know how it's going to work out.

Losing my "youth" if that makes any sense. Only a few years in college, and then it's straight to the big bad world. Better make the most of it.

Edit: I didn't read the first post, just the title so yeah, in response to the thread: biggest fear would probably have to be being late to class(es) on the first day.

Liist- you always manage to make me laugh...

Biggest fear? That I won't be prepared for college and that I'll fail out.
As unlikely as it is, I'm petrified.
Biggest challenge? Forcing myself to be more outgoing/social so that I have a chance at meeting people.

My biggest fears.
-Getting lost and/or making a complete and total fool of myself when I go away for school this fall.
-Falling and hurting myself or hurting myself which then causes me to fall.
-Trap doors

Fear: Wasting my life away. I don't want to think that all the work I have done over the years will get me into the school where someone who does not even try gets into. I hate to ponder that all the friendships and social I could have had, which I gave up, would get me into the same position I am in now.

Biggest fears:
- Getting into a great college, then realizing I'm not as smart as everyone thinks and flunking out.
- Having no friends/social life
- FDRA
