Whats your favorite movie?

Mine would have to be a tie between The Social Network and 21 Jump Street

Hard question, I would say October Sky, or 12 Angry Men.

The Other Boleyn Girl…I can’t remember the others :/

The Social Network! I love you.

The rest of my top five are:
Inglourious Basterds
Zodiac
School of Rock
Slumdog Millionaire

The Godfather and The Godfather Part II. Both equally classic, amazing movies. True cinematic genius. If you haven’t watched them you’re really missing out.

I’m sort of a film buff, so I’ll also mention that my favorite Sci-fi movie is 2001: A Space Odyssey, my favorite comedy is Airplane!, and as for more “recent” movies I love The Dark Knight.

The Pianist and The Shawshank Redemption.

Best part of Shawshank is Morgan Freemans narration at the end!

I would probably say the movie on John Nash “A beautiful Mind” was definitely one of my favorites.

Ides of March

Dark Knight

Social Network

Avengers

Horrible Bosses

@GoodNoodle I have not seen the Ides of march looking forward to watching it during the summer sometime

David - when you say film buff do you mean you also go out and see art house/indie movies?

@Cowboy112 Yeah it’s an awesome movie. I didn’t think that I’d like it as much as I did.

1) American beauty (yes I know a little risqu

The Thin Red Line or The Tree of Life.
A friend of mine got me into Malick earlier this year.

Now that I think about it, The Thin Red Line is probably my favorite. It’s the most beautiful depiction of war (weird, right?) I’ve seen. It’s like watching poetry, haha.

^^ American Beauty was a great movie although I admit it was a touch vulgar at times. After I watched it for the first time especially with that ending, my mind was like “Whoa”.

I agree with the others that the Social Network was a good movie. I know it’s a little cliche, especially here on CC, but it is.

I really liked The Terminal, Big and Catch me if you can (basically every movie Tom Hanks is in). I also like Back to the Future and The Breakfast Club.

Animated:
UP
Monsters Inc
Toy Story 1 and 3
Finding Nemo

Spirited Away. The anime, not the one about horses.

Anything by Quentin Tarantino really.

Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown, Inglorious Bastards, etc.

Others:
A Clockwork Orange
Moneyball
Field of Dreams
Saving Private Ryan

I’m torn between The Social Network and The Dark Knight; I really want to watch The Godfather and am planning to get it on Blu-ray, however.

Brokeback Mountain, followed closely by When Harry Met Sally.
