And ignore the oh-so-graceful analysis two posts above. English will probably not be the primary mean of "linguistic propagation" in my future career (while communication does the trick equally well and seen a lot less esoteric), and while you are taking your time doing this analysis, I have already prepared for a midterm exam and a research paper.

3.73, 70 credits so far @ CC in Fla. ChE major, applied to many schools, admitted to GA Tech & Rose-Hulman thusfar. I'm still considering UT Austin & UCB if I am admitted, depends if my sig other can find work in the area.

I haven't taken a huge courseload, usually around 10-11 credits a semester. I work a 40 hr week, though, and have been independent for many years. So, i'm hoping the lack of courseload will not be frowned upon. No EC's really, some private tutoring, but nothing I could prove.

I'd ask if anyone thinks i'd get in, but I know that it's really a guessing game so I guess we'll just all wait and see, hmm? :)

chemeng nice ga tech and rose hulman are both great schools...not to step on ur hopes or anything but UCB is tough chance especially since you are an out of resident if you lived in CA you would have a great chance...but you might get lucky good luck...
