What's your idea of fun?

I suppose the title says all, but I was wondering if you guys would mind sharing some fun things you like to do.

I'll share first. These are some fun things I've done with my friends in the past that I thought was really fun:

a) Go out to movies (I'm sure that most people do this)
b) On a sunny day go to a park and have a picnic (and then perhaps play a game of ultimate frisbee)
c) Dress up with some friends and go dancing
d) Laser tag
e) Play DDR/Guitar Hero/Twister at somebody's house

I'm just wondering if anybody has any great activities that I might be able to borrow in the future. (Drugs, hitting mailboxes, and getting wasted doesn't count.)

Ususally my friends and I hit mailboxes while doing drugs and getting wasted. It's a great bonding experience.

Well...

a). Play games with friends. (PC, Xbox, Wii)
b). Surf the web.
c). Read science fiction/ short stories.
d). Download movies. Watch TV (Lost, CSI, BSG, SG)
e). Shop for junk food, needless items, essential clothing very occasionally.
f). Play tennis. (Made varsity this year!)
g) Sleeping

You should find what you like better, not try and borrow other people's activities. I like staying indoors most of the time.

We like just sitting around and talking since we're all usually so busy. We all go out to eat once a week and every 2 weeks we have dinner and a movie. I wish we had more time for fun things before we all go away to college.

lame...........

Other than the usual (socializing, sports..) I visit trade fairs and simply talk to people. A lot. You learn a lot (and if only to talk to people) and with some experience get invited to dinner or stuff like that. Very interesting.
I also read a lot, but mostly in English, which is my second language - fanfiction and the like.
And I research a lot - browse wikipedia, google things.. which are not important to me, like psychology or stuff like that. It's very interesting and with time you build up a vast amount of knowledge, which helps you when arguing :-)

Me and my friends go out to eat and go to see movies pretty often. Once a week or so. Also if I want quality me-time I go to the gym and just do cardio. Of course going shopping is really fun too, especially when you've got money to buy stuff. Hmm...what else? That's pretty much it I guess. My city is kinda boring.

Crying game.

"Ususally my friends and I hit mailboxes while doing drugs and getting wasted. It's a great bonding experience."

Lol, I knew that somebody would give a response like this. Congrats, Sammie, for being the first one to do it.

"You should find what you like better, not try and borrow other people's activities."

Staying indoors is nice and all, but I was thinking more like activities that you have to plan, something you can't just easily do on the spot. Which is why I see nothing wrong with "borrowing" other people's activities if I think they have a good idea. Surfing the web is fun to do when you're bored and are doing home work, not when you want to have an amazing night with friends.

Ouch, is that all that everyone does? No concerts, dances, anything like that at all? (Well, I suppose it makes sense that the people who enjoy those kinds of things wouldn't be sitting at home in front of the computer, haha.)

Go bowling.

If you're 18 go clubbing.

Have an all-night movie marathon -- The Godfathers, Shakespeare-themed (Romeo+Juliet, Shakespeare in Love, etc), Slasher flicks (good ol' fashioned Nightmare on Elm St., maybe some Friday the 13th), or just your favorites.

I'm always a fan of a snowboarding trip.

-hanging out with friends
-listening to music
-reading/writing
-skiing

Completing a course of multivariable calculus at AP/EA @ Carnegie over the summer.

No, not really lol (though I wouldn't say no to that).

paintball (I have my own equipment)

movies

friends' houses

concerts (haven't been able to go to as many recently)

beach

doing stupid things while at aforementioned places

But if I'm doing nothing and I'm on the internet, (like right now), I research things that I don't need to (mostly things involving the universe and Einsteins Theory of Relativity. Surfing HowStuffWorks is a great procrastination tool too.)

I love hanging out at my dog park and watching the dogs play. I also like reading, wasting time at TvTropes.org and Wikipedia (y'know, look up something random and read whatever articles are interesting), and hanging out on various forums.

being with friends, anywhere, anytime!!!!! Always the best!

My idea of fun is to have a conversation with people who will listen.

I agree with KJ... It doesn't matter where I am as long as I'm with my friends.

We like dancing in parking lots, and having cake fights. Those are just two examples... haha.

^^Lol, cake fights!

I like frolicking in the snow with friends. Sliding on a snow-covered street in the middle of the night... Good times.

Too bad it prolongs my sickness and makes me feel like death afterward.

Going to the movies (Don't get to go that often because I'm so busy and it's expensive)
Watching tv
Dancing
Sleeping (lol)
Going out to dinner
Driving up to Lake Tahoe for a weekend getaway

setting a building on fire or flood it.
