is a 680 W, 1600 M+CR good enough for me to forget about the SAT forever and concentrate on other things like the AP language and composition exam and physics and math II subject tests?

I was wondering the same thing because I’m in a similar situation (my writing is even lower). But I’ve decided to forget about the SAT reasoning forever because I have a 730 writing from a previous SAT, and most of the schools I’m looking at superscore. If you’re in a similar situation, don’t retake; there are more meaningful things you could be spending that time on. If you don’t have a satisfactory writing score from a previous test, think about how much you can improve and whether the time expenditure will be worth it.
