What's your schedule?

Since quite a few of us have already attended orientation and signed up for classes, I'm curious to see what everyone is taking. Hopefully there are some upperclassmen who can also provide us with some helpful tips about certain professors (I know about bruinwalk but not all of the comments were very helpful).
those in biotech, hope you don't get Rich for the TA. i thought he was the worst TA ever. it made me look down upon dartmouth kids since he graduated from dartmouth. biotech overall is a good class, not too easy, but pretty relevant and interesting. prof. robinson (who also teaches bioterrorism) is actually on the CIA blacklist cuz they found anthrax in his lab LOL. he's proud of that. he's the best of the 3 profs. but i think all grading is done by TA's, which i thought sucked since Rich was very ambigous about what he was looking for, gets off topic all the time during discussion, and had a harder grading curve. apparently there's some gunners in the class (come on it's a freakin life science class, there's some pre-med kids in there), but most students seemed prepared for the course difficulty (but i think there were many more B's than there were A's). Rich said he was surprised at the caliber of the class' writing ... although I'm not sure if that's just UCLA being good or Dartmouth being crappy jk jk ;)

ellalovesnyc and SoCalGal87, i see you're taking classics 10. you're in good hands...professor goldberg is awesome, his class is a walk in the park if you actual go to lecture, AND he looks like zeus

I'm glad to hear that the Professor is good (and looks like Zeus!). I was originally enrolled in Poli Sci 10 but read horrible things about the professor so I quickly switched out. We do have quite a few books to get for this Classics class though. However that shouldn't be too bad right?

well, its the nature of a humanities class...you buy somewhere around 6-10 smaller books and a course reader instead of one huge 1000 page science text book. The reading for the class is very light though...maybe 10-15 pages max a night if I remember correctly. If you do the reading and pay attention in class, you will OWN that class...i remember getting like a 98 in it, haha.

I'm also trying to take it easy this quarter...it IS my first quarter in college, after all >_<. That math class is going to kick my ass, I just know it. It doesn't help that I couldn't take Calculus in college and a lot of the people in the class will have already taken Calc ab in high school.
