what's your sophomore schedule like?

For soph year I had:

AP Chemistry
AP Biology
AP European History
Honors Communication Arts II
Pre-Calc/Trig
German 2
Health/Wellness

"Wait whats so special about BC calc and Linear Algebra?"

Well they're college sophomore classes. So taking them as a sophomore in high school especially is REALLY good.

DS2:
Pre-IB English 10 (Honors)
AP USH
AP Environmental
Pre-IB Chem (Honors)
Pre-IB Spanish IV (Honors)
Pre-IB Precalc (Honors)
TV Production

i hate my classes.

drawing+painting. the only class to bring my up my will be horrible average
english honors
global history + geography honors
chemistry which i'm sure i will fail
math b which i'm mega sure i will fail.
spanish 3 which is fun because we eat food.

They aren't really sophomore level classes, not with so many ppl taking BC calculus these days. And linear algebra is on the same level as Calculus I, theoretically of course, not like any administration will let you take LA before calculus, or would they???

My high school allows to us to take Linear algebra/Differential equations even before calc. All we need is pre-calc.

Wow! Some of your schedules are realy challenging and interesting. I go to a small non competitive school in rural Vermont where we have no where near the selection of classes you guys have.

french 3
academic bio
gym
band/chorus/lunch
conceptual physics(only physics class we have, we used to an academic but we get rid of it because of a new science curriculum.)
honors geometry (I hate math)
10 honors english.

DiffEq requires MV Calc. It's structured that way in colleges, and it's set up that way at every HS I know of that offers MV/DiffEq. No way you'd survive a real DiffEq class without it. Lin Alg just requires a year of BC calc, and some schools will let one in with just AB, depending on how strong the calculus program is at one's school. Discrete math doesn't require calc, but that's a different animal altogether.

I am pretty sure I am going to survive. I am taking linear/diffferential at the same time with ab calc.

My school doesn't offer APs til junior year, so:

First semester:
English III
French III
Math III (mostly geometry)
Global History III (from WWI-present)
Chorus
Music II
Chemistry

Second semester:
Basically the same except Music is replaced with Health.

It's really not that difficult. Sophmore year at my school (which is 7-12) is widely recognized as the most fun because you have a good group of friends already without the intensity and stress of junior and senior year.

AP Euro
Honors English
Honors Precalculus
Spanish III
Biology
Choir
Team Sports (gym)

The toughest schedule at my school for a soph is still average on CC :S. Oh well, I love this schedule a ton.
