I am worried my schedule is not very rigorous. Just because my school is small and Does not allow foreign language until 11th grade (I found a way though!). I hear people on hear taking calculus already and my school won't allow it! and we really aren't supposed to take AP classes either but...My guidance counselor approved me!

First Semester:
AP Biology (already taken Bio honors)
Honors Chemistry
Honors Algebra 2 w/trig
Honors English II
Spanish I (maybe mandarin) (this class I take after school completely on my own, only sophomore doing this!)

Second Semester:
AP Biology
AP Environmental Science
AP Psychology
Honors Civics and Economics (req)
Spanish II (again, completely after school on my own time)

Pre calculus with college algebra and lab over the summer at community college

next year I’m taking as a sophomore:
language arts 2 honors
AP calculus BC
chinese 3(no honors available)
chemistry honors
physics honors
AP US History

Junior right now, but last year I took (not counting gym and such):
Honors Chemistry
Academic (level 2) English (albeit with a teacher on the level of honors; no joke)
Honors Pre-Calculus
Italian 2
Honors US History I
Music Theory I
Wind Ensemble

Honestly, most of that schedule was harder for me than my schedule this year is. I find Honors Pre-Calc to be harder than AP Calculus AB, and Honors Chemistry to be harder than AP Physics B. USH got a lot harder though.

I moved to a new school my soph year, so I wasn’t able to take any AP class. Only 1 kid in the entire soph class last year took an AP. Anyway, this was my schedule
Honors English
Honors Spanish 2-3
Honors Civics/Global Studies
Honors Algebra 2/Trig
Honors Bio
Russian 1
Gym (semester)
Intro to AP Chem (semester course)

AP English Language
AP Physics B
AP European History

I took the most challenging schedule offered at my school for sophomores.

Language Arts 10 (no honors offered)
Spanish 3 (no honors offered)
AP World History
Physics (no honors offered)
Algebra II (no honors offered; fastest math track possible)
Engineering & CAD Design
Health & P.E. (required)

Current sophomore, took:
Acc (Honors) Chemistry
Acc (Honors) Algebra II
Acc (Honors) English 10
French 2
Acc (Honors) World Civilizations
AP Biology
Latin 2

My school doesn’t allow sophomores to take AP’s

Honors Algebra II
Honors Chemistry
Honors Biology
Honors Civics and Economics
Honors Spanish III
Honors English II
Drafting-Engineering
Advanced Weights (must for athletes)

All of these classes are jokes except Chemistry.

Weird. My school allows it but doesn’t recommend it. AP Biology and AP Environmental science are both senior year classes, but because I know the principal quite well, I was approved. AP Psychology is approved for sophomores that have take at least 4 honors courses. At least you can take foreign language! I plan on becoming proficient in spanish in 5 months. (last week of april plus may june july and august) then coming to school knowing everything!

Honors English 10
Honors U.S History
Pre-Calculus
Chemistry
AP Environmental Science
French III

Honors is a joke at my school, but they don’t let sophomores take AP’s. I had to fight tooth and nail just to get AP Environmental on my schedule.
