I worked at a supermarket...lot of work, minumum wage.

I worked at a zoo doing admissions/parking. The heat was the nasty part of it besides the stupid/rude customers.

No job this time, just volunteering at an elementary school. I have cute kindergarteners! This will be my last week before college!

i work at a mcdonalds as a manager. ok pay, ok food, ok people, crappy heat, stupid customers, hate to be racist but, good god black people are picky.

I work at an entertainment insurance company. We cover stuff like concerts, movie shoots, sporting events. It's kinda a summer job but could go on longer. I stare at databases all day and get to hear amusing stories about famous people. Yesterday I heard an old white guy explain why we couldn't cover 50 Cent any more (he hadn't known he had been shot 9 times). It's pretty chill.

I work at a daycare center (mostly with the one, two, and three year olds), and my last day is Friday :)

So yeah...nobody gets to complain about their jobs until you have to deal with classes of small children...and then their parents. Most of the kids are cool and same for the parents, but the few that aren't are enough to make the most easy-going, non-violent person want to stab themselves in the jugular with the closest sharp, pointy object. Haha

But yeah, I sure didn't choose to work there because of some huge love of children or anything...I missed out on the maternal gene that makes most girls all goo-goo over small children. It was just the only place looking for summer help that hadn't already filled all of their positions by time I got out of school and back from a trip I took right after.

I'm an English teacher. I've taught at two different language schools here. The pay is $15/hour and there are no taxes since the schools do everything under the table. After I taught for one session I just did the exact same thing over again for the following sessions so it was really easy. I'm going to try to get my own class for winter because I'm literally making only 25% or so of the money from my classes in the schools, yet doing 90% of the work.

I also tutor privately in English for $15/hour.

I'm in a different country that requires me to be able to speak a different language for 90% of jobs (I can't), so this was an awesome solution. I was dreading having to get a busboy job or something. Since I'm out of the country there aren't many great options but it's the price I pay.

farmer's market

i work at borders.

and i love it! [we get paid more than b&n and no dress code.. its awesome]

the only problem i have... is spending all the moneys i earn on books...

I've been working at 'The chicken place' fastfood joint as a cashier. It wasn't my first choice, but they hired me quick.

I work at a clothing store, where generally, wealthier people shop. It really annoys me when I get stupid customers, because I wonder how they got to be this wealthy, being this dumb.

But the job is awesome, the pay is decent (for me at least) and my co workers are amazing, all HS and college students. Its going to suck when they start going back to school.

Hey i am very surprised no one mentioned EBAY! yea, I think if you guys look around your areas for some wholesalers, u can make allot of money. I work at a store and when i come home, i fill out surveys online for $3 a survey, make about 100 a month from that alone. i am thinking of going into mutual funds too. Can someone tell me where to begin(not the internet)

brusterssss

frozen yogurt..gah i cant wait to quit

Setting up, configuring, and modifying a robotics platform at the university I attend.

I lifeguard and teach swim lessons at a private club. It's a chill job. This is my last week and then off to school I go.

I was an Orientation Advisor at my university. Best job ever. We start up late programs again this Thursday, but I'm now Student Coordinator of Orientation through next summer. It went from a summer job to a year-long job (promotion and a pay raise:) ).

like 4321234, I also work at a farmer's market. It's my family's though. I also give private clarinet lessons. Both jobs pay in cash, so that's nice. I don't want to go back to school, ever.

I work at Hollister and at a local consulting firm as an administrative assistant. Generally, retail jobs are incredibly fun at the expense of crappy pay while office work gets you a lot of dough but is incredibly boring. Whatever, college starts in a week!:)

Are you kidding? Retail jobs are hell.

Office jobs are boring though, I must admit.
