When one of the requirements for a university states that every student should "Earn a college grade point average of 2.00 or better in all transferable courses" does this mean that all my transferable courses should have a "c" or better...

or does it mean that my cumulative gpa should be above 2.00?

I think it means that your average of the transferrable courses should be a C, but I also think they might not allow you to get credit at the new university for a transferrable course where the grade was lower than a C.

I think it means that the transferrable courses could have grades of B, C, and D (for an average of 2.0), but then they might only accept the B and the C.

My sister transferred from a CC to a four year school. In CC she got a D in her calculus class but they still accepted the credits because she had her associates degree. If you are worried about classes that may not transfer, stick around where you are make sure to get a degree first. It holds more weight when transferring.
