When and how do you hear of your acceptance?

<p>So I recently finished all my paperwork to apply for Whittier College (applied as a transfer student from CPSLO). I'm curious as to when and how (mail or e-mail?) will we be notified or our acceptance. I'm trying to plan ahead and would like to know soon! I already received provisional admission to CPP, but I would like to attend Whittier College.</p>

<p>Btw, what was your financial aid packages like? I receive a good aid here since my EFC is about $300. I hear Whittier College is really good with financial aid now and would like to participate in the program!</p>

<p>Are you hoping to get more financial aid? Smaller classes? Is your major weak at SLO? Cal Poly SLO is the top rated CSU and a real bargain.</p>

<p>Primarily, I’m not happy with the school here as it is difficult to make friends here since I’m the only student from my high school to enroll here in CPSLO. Transferring to Whittier College in my hometown Whittier would help me make more connections compared to CPSLO. Yes CPSLO is prestigious, but its known for that in their engineering and architecture programs. I’m currently a food science major and I picked this major on impulse since you have to select a major prior to applying and I do not like this major at all. </p>

<p>I talked to a couple of my friends in Whittier College and it seems that their program is good considering I don’t have to fight for classes like here in CPSLO and would help me graduate on time. I also heard there are good connections too at Whittier College.</p>
