if by Asian you mean East Asians..why don't u say When East Asians have brown hair....etc.? ?

bbmy hair's purely black, but my friend's (who's also 100% chinese) hair is ... almost red in the sunlight. At night or on a dark day or in the shade it's black, but in sunlight it's brown/red. And I thought it was only her. Oh yeah, she never died her hair.

From what I've read here I'm guessing that it's mostly the girls that have brownish hair

i r not girl.

East Asian hair due to exposure to sunlight, chemicals in shampoo, etc. turns brownish-red – which is why most Asian girls w/ long hair have “black” hair w/ a brownish-red tinge.

Girls who have long “jet-black” hair, ironically, usually have dyed their hair.

i have naturally red hair. like, irish red hair.

almost all hair colors turn reddish under the sunlight

and u can't have hair that's COMPLETELY black, unless u wear a wig
