Title says it all.
Many colleges reuse essay prompts. Check each specific college though. Google “College Name 2016/2015/2014/2013 essay prompt.” You’ll find that they repeat verbatim or are very similar.

I believe applications come out August 1st.
The common app will update with the new essay questions on August 1st
When my son registered for the Common App and listed his colleges, some of them already had the essay prompts, so he started preparing for them. Hope these essay prompts are not from the previous year!!?? It’s only a few schools on the list that had these prompts while most of them didn’t have the prompts up yet.
@TiggerDad many of them stay the same. Don’t panic- but maybe wait until August 1st to keep working on them, just in case.
