When do colleges stop accepting SAT scores??

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I'm a senior in high school and I've taken the SAT twice. Sadly I didn't take it seriously so I didn't study and the highest score I received was a 1900 (super scored). I want to get into the 2200 range BUT I don't think I'll be able to do that by the next test date in December.</p>

<p>So my question is, do seniors take the SAT in January, March, etc. Even though they already sent in their college applications? If so, will the colleges receive/accept the new scores after the application has already been submitted?</p>

<p>Schools have their own deadline (often January). Check for the schools you’re applying to.</p>
