2.) I know i will be Valedictorian but if I haven't graduated yet, how will the college know I'm Val? Same for top 8%, will they know even if i haven't graduated?</p>
<p>yes but this is a non traditional HS and i am a little behind- next year im leaving and going to a normal HS.</p>

<p>The Common App opens July 1, but most schools won’t upload their supplements until much later. So I would say the college application cycle starts for you this summer.</p>
<p>Also, your guidance counselor is the one who tells colleges about your rank through a form you give him or her. Usually there is one form at the time of application (listing your rank up to junior year) and then midyear and final reports.</p>
<p>I haven’t taken any SAT/ACT test yet.
