When do I find out my Expected Family Contribution?

My parents filed the FAFSA on Saturday. Will there be any information about how much aid I receive, or does that all come from the schools when I get the financial aid package?

You can see your FAFSA EFC on your Student Aid Report after filing.
Your net price and financial aid package will come from your school. You will need to check the financial aid website to see when your school creates packages for admitted students.

The EFC was provided at the end of my FAFSA but without a dollar sign. If you didn’t see it then, once the FAFSA is processed you can access your SAR (Student Aid Report) on the FAFSA website. Final aid comes from the colleges and will depend on other factors (whether they calculate your need differently than FAFSA and CSS, whether they meet 100% of need, etc).

At the end of FAFSA, on the confirmation page, it said what the EFC was and what aid we might qualify for based on the EFC (student loan, $5,500 for my freshman and $7,500 for my senior).

We will most likely qualify for a state grant as well because I have one in college already and know how our state awards aid.

So if you didn’t print that confirmation page, in a few days you should get an email to tell you that your SAR (student aid report) is ready.

It should have the EFC listed on it.

The FAFSA EFC only tells you if you may qualify for a Pell grant. An EFC if 0 means you may qualify for a grant of up to ~$5800/year. An EFC above $5000 means tou won’t qualify for much, if any. The FAFSA EFC has little to do with what colleges expect you to pay. Run the Net Price Calculator of each school you apply to so you can get a rough idea of what your net cost might be.

EFC is not a tangible accurate number - especially for schools that use the CSS too
The best way to find out cost estimates is to run the NPC fro each school and use accurate precise numbers (not just guesses)
this has been mentioned in other threads of yours so we assume that you ran the NPC for every school that you are applying to

You actual financial aid awards will be given by each college…and the aid might well vary from college to college.

To get a better idea, have you done the net price calculators for your colleges??

^ Yes, the Net Price Calculator for the college has the most accurate info.
