When do I send in SAT, TOEFL scores ?

<p>Sorry to bother you all. I am an international student from Malaysia that intend to apply to US university for 2013 Fall admission.</p>

<p>I have all my SAT and TOEFL scores ready but I am still working on my Common App essays and all the supplemental essays. I intend to apply to the regular decision (due early January) and intend to submit my common app and college specific supplement app online in early December. </p>

<p>I always thought that I have to submit the application first then only to send in the SAT and TOEFL scores to the university (or else how do they match the scores to my application ?), but it seems otherwise by reading some of the information online. Please advise me as whether I should send the scores now while I am still working on my essays. Do they have a way to match the scores with the application sent in later ?</p>

<p>Some of the universities that I am going to apply to request a declaration of finances (some paper forms + letter from the bank) to be submitted as part of the application package, can I send those in before the application (as the declaration has to be sent in via mail) ?</p>

<p>You can send SAT and TOEFL scores before you submit your application – in fact, you should, since the College Board takes several days to get them out. Send them in now!</p>
