I applied to Taubman College at the University of Michigan for architecture. On the site it states that if I met the early action deadlines, they would honor the early action notification date. When will I find out? Everyone has found out from U of Michigan already.

Did U-M send you an email that you met the early action deadline?

I didn’t think they would send that email as Taubman doesn’t ‘officially’ have EA, but their site indicated that they would respect the dates if the Taubman applicant got the application in by the EA deadline. A little confusing. The website only says that all EA know by 12/23, so technically they still have this week to send the emails.

Right, thats what I figured. They wouldn’t send an EA confirmation email. Guess I’m waiting until the 23rd.

They will let us know by late December:)
“Please note: Taubman College is not an Early Action unit. However, we will honor the Early Action submission and notification deadlines with the rest of the university. If your application is complete by November 1st, and your portfolio shared on box.com by November 15th, you will recieve an admission decision in late December.”

Sorry to mislead you, the link doesn’t specifically say the same date as EA, it says by late December. Oh my, we may be waiting until after the holiday…

I got my deferred decision yesterday from Taubman college! Good luck to you:)
