I applied to Taubman College of Architecture/Urban Planning and I was just curious if anyone had heard back from them yet? Whether you got in or not can you post your stats so I can compare mine? Also, what types of work did you include in your portfolio? Just curious.

I haven't heard anything back yet and I'm getting worried. Looking on this site it looks like people that applied to other colleges are getting decisions left and right. I just want a yes or no at this point and I'm wondering if Taubman has sent any decisions out. I'm an incoming junior and all my application materials were in before the Feb 1 deadline, including my portfolio. I really hope I get in. My gpa is good but I'm at a community college which is against me I know. My essays were good though and I had some good recommendations. :/ I guess I'll just have to wait and see..

Hey! I got in as an architecture pre-admit a few weeks ago.
I applied dually to A&D and LSA (got into both)
I got deferred from LSA under EA. Did my portfolio review on Jan. 30th.
(in-state)
basic stats…
UW GPA: 3.63
ACT: 31
SAT: 2040

My portfolio had a LOT of drawing, a few paintings, and a few film photos that I took/processed/developed (nothing related to architecture though). I had a lot of observational drawings - both still lifes and people.

Pre-admit means you’re pre-arch rather than undergrad right? Has anyone that applied for UG heard back yet?

I’m not sure if I understand your question… but by pre-admit, this means I’m guaranteed a spot in Taubman come junior year. So as an underclassman I’ll be pre-arch, then go into the arch curriculum!

I just wanted to bump this and see if anyone else has heard back from Taubman as a transfer student?

I’m really getting anxious waiting…
