I applied almost 2 weeks ago, and before the early action deadline. I know they can’t offer interviews to everyone, so if they haven’t reached out to me by this point, is that too late? I was really hoping to get one, but I’m not sure now if they have any openings. How long does it usually take for them to contact you/have any of you been asked yet?
Applicants have begun the interview process but the timing varies by location. These will continue likely until the ned of this month. Often there are more applicants than there are interviewers so not everyone will receive an interview, although Princeton does try to have an interview for everyone if possible. There is no ranking system to the interviews so if you do not receive an offer of an interview, there is no connection to the strength of your application.
To be certain, make sure you check your spam/junk mail folders to see if an offer has been routed there.
I received a mass email with all the other applicants in my state with our local Princeton club offering an interview day about a week after I submitted my application.
^^ so around November 4th
I just got an email today, thanks for your input!!
Ugh I haven’t gotten one yet
It varies a lot. For what it’s worth, my son wasn’t contacted for an interview until after he’d received a likely letter.
Hi sherpa, was your son EA or RD? Approximately when in the process did he get the likely letter?
