I'm trying to figure out when to expect a rejection letter lol. Any clue?

You won't get a rejection letter.

UC Berkeley doesn't send out rejection letters. Decisions should be out at the end of March 2007.

So you just never hear from them again if you don't get in?

No. They just don't send a letter. Rejections are only announced on the myBerkeley Application website.

haha Golden Bear, I thought that by "UC Berkeley doesn't send out rejection letters," you meant that Cal is just THAT easy to get into. I was like NO. lol

The wait is so tortuous. I should be put into a coma until the results are posted.

just chill and enjoy the next few months. Start enjoying you're last semester, cause you ain't gonna have it again. Then if you get in where you wanna go, party it up and celebrate, and if not,...party anyway and make the best of where you're going, believe me, the wait won't feel long if you don't think about it, senior year goes by too quick.

So what exactly does the rejection letter say? (Just curious)

As I said, there is no rejection letter. You will not get one because they do not wish to waste their resources of paper and stamps on rejected candidates as a matter of curbing spending and expediency to send acceptance letters to those accepted.

If you are rejected you will be able to see that by logging in to the myBerkeley Application site.

Decisions came out on March 31st last year.

If you log into myBerkeleyApp, it says decisions will be released on "the evening of March 29, 2007"

Freshmen: Mar 29th (evening)
Transfers: April 30th (evening

How do you log onto the myBerkeleyApp?

In the confirmation email Berkeley sent out in January they give you instructions on how to log in to myBerkeleyApp. It really isn't anything special, except a nice note about decisions going online the evening of 3/29.

The site for myBerkeleyApp login is: https://students.berkeley.edu/myberkeley/myberkeleyapp.asp
