<p>I applied to Cal Poly already and I honestly haven’t received much from from them. No emails really requesting anything. I set up my login etc… Whereas Cal Poly Ponoma has already requested transcripts. I’m just wondering if I am missing emails or something.</p>
<p>I am also a transfer student and applied for both Pomona and San Luis Obispo. I have not yet heard anything from San Luis Obispo, aside from the ability to set up my student center login. I have also sent my transcripts to Pomona because they already asked for them. </p>

<p>Cal Poly SLO will ask for your transcripts after a decision has been made on whether or not you are accepted. Basically, they will base their decision on the grades you submitted on you’re transcript and then verify them later. This means that the GPA you’ve earned for the classes you’ve taken in Fall of 2012 will not go towards their decision.
It’s a rather weird (and in my opinion, bad) way of doing things. I went to SLO for a year, and then decided to switch my major, which was denied. I went back to my local community college for a year with the intention of re-filing, but I guess they won’t even be looking at those grades.</p>
