actually neither! m international.. my stats are ok... like 1890 for SATS, good ALEVEL results al As.. m a bit confused as to why they'd reply so early? i applied for reg decision.. hmmm

oh! thanx... :P lol good luck to youll.. wont yall like get to know within the week anyway? hehe i think JMU will probably e-mail i presume.

maybe it's because your international...i don't think they get a ton of international students..

hmmm yes true that came across my mind as well..

Yeah, they're used to the vast majority of their applicants being in-state, let alone international. I'm curious though, what made you choose JMU?

When you mean international, are you currently attending school outside of the US, or are you a student in the US, just not a US citizen and on a visa or green card or whatever?

lol im a citizen who studied outside the US... why I chose JMU...hmmm haha now you are making me think... I think cuz i wanted another uni in my list which was 'good' some where in VA.

Received email today with instructions of how to look it up online. The email came into the Spam folder, so be sure and look there.

Accepted EA OOS :)

im in the same boat as jamesnew... int'l as well... NOT A SINGLE word about scholarships.. im confused =/

Does anyone know when our scholarship offers will be out? The deadline was the 15th but when do we get to know? hmmmm

I'm in the same boat as jamesnew. I'm an American citizen, with a father living in Virginia, that attends school in Canada. I received a letter in the mail yesterday telling me that I've been admitted, however I have yet to receive anything about scholarships or the honors program that I applied to.

I was worried initially when I saw the envelope because I thought it was WAY to early for them to be sending it haha. My guess is that students from international schools got their letters first, but that scholarship/honors info will be held up until the full wave of letters are released.

Does anyone know when they send out honors decisions?

Have any regular decision applicants heard from JMU yet? Their notification window is closing...

According to the website, they sent out the regular decision letters today.

But they removed the link for finding out your admission status online, so it looks like we're waiting for the postal service to actually send out the letter.

notification for Freshmen and Transfers??

ack! i hate waiting for mail. it takes it FOREVER to get to hawaii -_-

So they send out letters, but not e-mails???

Last school year the letters came out mid-week the week prior to April 1. And yes, it is snail mail. And if you are accepted, there is a purple CONGRATULATIONS on the outside of the envelope. It won't be long now! Good luck to all of you. I hope this helps.

Two girls from my school just found out they got into JMU through an email. Idk if they were originally deferred or if they applied regular though.

I was e-mailed today and told to check online for my status (RD - in-state).

Accepted!
