When do you apply for the 7 years program for these?
You will apply to BA/MD [programs in fall of your senior year of high school.
You will need to check the webpage for each program to get specific dates when application materials are due.
I don’t see UF has a bsmd program, did you mean FAU?
^^ When we discuss bs/md program it’s always for graduating HS to apply. The UF program is more less what we called EAP or a variationof it, Which is for college students to apply.
^^^Which is why my post made it clear (by putting it in bold) that UF’s “7 year BS/MD” program is only open to 2nd year college students. 
I’m a little confused so you have to apply Sophomore year of college? That’s 2 years in already? Don’t you have to apply senior year? Then why is it called the 7 year program I don’t understand sorry.
The program at UF is not an automatic BS/MD program. As explained above, students apply for this as college sophomores.
Regular BS/MD programs which are like direct entry into medical school are applied to during your fall semester senior year of high school. They are amongst THE most competitive college admissions there are.
Early Assurance Programs or EAPs like UF’s Medical Honors programs are different from BA/MD programs.
BA/MD and BA/DO admit high school student directly in a 6 to 8 year long program that culminates in a medical degree (MD or DO). The medical school portion always lasts 4 years; the undergrad portion can last 2 , 3 or 4 years depending on how each program is structured.
All BA/MD programs have minimum qualification requirements (GPA and grades in key pre-req classes) that student must achieve during undergrad in order to advance to the medical school portion of their education. Some offer guaranteed admission to all students who hit those qualifications minimums; others require additional qualifications–like passing a med school admission interview, earning a certain MCAT score, or achieving other goalpost activities.
Early assurance programs accept highly qualified college sophomores for either guaranteed admission or fast track admission to medical school upon completion of their BA/BS degree. EAPs typically look at a student’s college grades, their SAT/ACT scores, their college ECs and 3-5 LORs from their college professors. You will apply for EAPs during the winter/early spring of your sophomore year with decisions announced before the end of the second semester. Applications for these programs typically open in December and close by mid-to-late February.
UF’s EAP requires that applicants have already completed certain key pre-reqs (biology, gen chem, Ochem in progress) when they apply. The program accelerates your college undergrad by including mandatory full time summer enrollment both the summer before and after your junior year. (During those 4 semesters, you will complete all the requirements for your BA degree as well all pre-med requirements.)
