My school schedule is different every day because we are set up more like a college. Usually i go to class at 8 am and dont get home until around 7 on most days, except thursdays when school is over at 8. I go to a private college prepatory school and we have required afternoon activities after classes. Then on thursdays we end later because we have seated dinner. We also have to wear coat and ties.

8:00 Am - 12:25 Pm

We have an 8-day rotating schedule, and this is my least strenuous day:

8:15 - 8:25: Homeroom
8:30 - 9:30: Journalism ("working on the newspaper")
9:35 - 10:35: IB Chemistry HL
1:45 - 2:50: IB Mathematics SL

In other words, two academic classes. It's nice. :p

I wanted to go to a private school and wear ties and uniforms and live there.....

lablondie, we are pretty good. Practice starts at 3:30. 4:30 is when sprint practices end, distance guys usually end at 5 (they're freaking amazing, one's a world champion triathlete and a stanford recruit, and the rest are also damn good runners).

Our sprint coach doesn't believe in killing us at practice, so our workouts are short...but sometimes really hard. I think on Monday we're going to do 600, 500, 400. But then on Tuesday, we're just going to do a huge 400 relay. Our 4x400 team should be good. We got one guy who should be under 50, and me and this other guy should be running 50-52.

Overall, we should come in second at conference championships...we could win it if we do a little better in field events this year.

My brother's school practices from 3:15-5:30, sometimes later, and they're horrible. But I think we just have better male track athletes in general than his (their girls' team is insane though).

I love how working on the newspaper is in quotes. I loved journalism. I literally sat there in that class and did nothing because the teacher loved me. I was an editor too. We only got one paper out, but that's the most they've gotten out in the past 3 1/2 years, so yeah, what a joke.

We really do work hard on the newspaper--we've even won national awards for it. We just don't do any of the work in class. People write their articles in their own time, then come in for layout weekends five times per year. It sounds awful that we're forced to spend the weekend in the "Dateline bunker" (our paper is the International Dateline, and the computer labs are in the basement), but it's actually a lot of fun.

[/dork]

We start at 7:40 am and end at 2:30 pm.

I get to school about 6:55am because there are 80 spots in the senior/only student parking lot...our senior class is 412

homeroom - 7:18 - 7:28
school ends 1:40

i usually get home from track anywhere from 4:30 - 6:30

Why didnt you?

My school starts at 7:10 AM, but I'm usually there around 6:45 AM. The day ends around 1:35 or 1:50 depending on the day of the week.... we have block scheduling. But because I'm a senior and I only have classes for 7 of the 8 periods, I get out as early as 11:35 AM and as late as 1:35 PM, it all depends on the day of the week.

I must say I have by far the worst schedule. My Fresh, Soph, and Junior years, I started school at 7am and didn't get out until 6pm -10pm (depending on the day). But since I'm a senior now, and have all my requirements finished, I now start school at 9:40 and get out at 3:30. :)

School starts at 8:10-3:20ish. Sports or plays go till later. Sports go till 5:30 and plays go till 6:00, I think.

8 to 5, if you don't account for the hours on the bus. If you do, 7 to 5:15.
It's almost like a full time job.

Woah, I get home at 6:30 after track practice.

somebodynew, sprint practice ending after an hour makes a lot more sense. It was the distance/field that kind of made me wonder. At my school the boys track team sucks, girls team is decent. Well, it was way better with the old coach. To me it seems like boys get done whenever they feel like getting done. Girls go until at least 5:30. Back when I was vaulting I'd sometimes stay till 7:00ish.

7:30-2:30, and I get home either then or at 6 when I have play/musical reherasal or 5:30 for sports.

8:00-2:50....or 4:30-5:00 when mock trial is 'in season'

Thank God it's over!!!!!!11111

Officially 7:45-2:35, but since I'm in Academic Decathlon it's 6:30-4:30.

Homeroom starts at 9:15, classes at 9:30 and we end at 4. On Fridays school ends at 1:30 or 1:15 depending on the week.

But usually I leave early most days when I have frees in the afternoon.
