~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last time I checked, Feb or March.
where'd you check?can i get a link?
From the website: UB Undergraduate Admissions: Apply - Important Dates
First round of UB admission decisions and merit scholarship offers mailed (rolling basis thereafter). UB also begins mailing first round of invitations to the University Honors College, University Scholars Program, and the Daniel Acker Scholars Program.
Early March, 2009
last year my D heard on Feb 11
I got a letter yesterday that said rolling admissions start in Feb.
i got in as a transfer for fall 09 2 days ago! so happy to be leaving my school (baruch) i shouldve applied to UB as a high school senior last yr....guess 1 yr late is better than 2 lol.. I sent my high school and college transcripts...to give u chance info i had a 90 gpa in high school, and my first semester in college i got a 3.54 gpa and made the phi eta sigma national honor society, so yea i got into UB. not sure if im gonna end up going there though, since im waiting for another 7 schools to give me their decision, but im very happy UB accepted me, i loved it there when i visited!
congrats! I am planning on visiting soon. What can you say best about the campus on your visit?
Also I was planning on applying to Baruch, but they didn't have the Math or Comp Sc. program I wanted. I am a transfer student too, so I hope I get in!
The reason im leaving Baruch is bc they have no dorms, no campus, no social life that college should have.. it feels like a work prison no offence. anyways enough about my future past... What i loved about UB is that the campus is HUGE!!!!!!! i mean its ridiculous. They have something for every college student's taste. division one teams, (they won the mac east i think) i came around that time lol in november. Since its cold in buffalo, they made it easy to travel around campus, through a path that connects the whole school. You never have to walk outisde in the cold if you dont want to. The dorms are bigger than most college dorms that ive seen too and cleaner.
Theres also some huge lake they have there that apparantly they have some kind of mud volleyball tournament in the spring and then everyone jumps in the lake to wash off, that sounded fun...visit the campus im sure ull like it!
I love UB besides for the fact there is not a single tree over 5 feet tall on the entire north campus.
wow David sounds fun, though the huge campus could be alarming for me at first. I hope at least some of the classes are small and more close knit than those huge lecture halls I tend to nod off in...
I recently visited Stony Brook, wasn't very impressed.
have alot of ppl gotten in yet? i havent heard or got anything in the mail....
if anyone has any questions about campus feel free to ask me any questions u have. though im not expert on suny buff. i did visit and had a very long (and freezing lol) tour. maybe we'll see eachother next fall. anyways gl to all
got in for fall 2009 today!
