Im wondering if I should take Calc as a freshman or take it as a sophomore. I'll probably be taking Statistics in my freshman in addition to PreCalculus or Calculus. I'm going to buy an AP Calc Review Book to gain a grasp of the subject before I enter college, but I dont know whether I'm ready to take it as a freshman.

It all depends on how good you are at maths.

Calculus is not that hard… it’s about as far as you will have to go in some majors like political science, but if you are a science/engineering major get ready to go up to Calc III or higher.

At the end of the day it comes down to “do you need it” and “are you good at math”

I’d take it as soon as possible because you tend to kinda forget math stuff soon after you graduate. However, I wouldn’t really reccommend taking it with other math classes.

Do you like math enough to take two math classes at the same time?

Ill be a business major, so dont I have to?
