<p>I'm wide awake at night and incredibly sleepy and drowsy in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the rest of society expects me to conform to its discriminatory schedule of activity during the day and sleep during the night, so I end up being sleep deprived.</p>

<p>I fall asleep anywhere from 1-3 AM, and wake up at 6:45 on weekdays. I do take naps though, usually from around 6 PM to eight PM. I make up for it on the weekends, when I sleep for about twelve hours :P</p>

By your standards, kid. 9pm isn't that late for me and the general population, at least around here. Considering that the recommended hours of sleep for teens is 8~10 hours daily, I'd say the average bedtime of a HS student is around 10~11, and thus 9 isn't that early.</p>

<p>12:00 at the earliest on weekdays. Usually between then and 2:00. I wake at 6:30-ish.</p>
<p>On weekends I sleep whenever I want to. I just have to organize around ballet on Friday and Saturday and, usually but not always, a community action team event on Saturday and Sunday. Since one of the CAT leaders dances with me, there are never conflicts!</p>
<p>Up till grade 10, I had slept at least 10 hours a day. In grade 10, that changed to about 8-9 hours. Now, junior year, and it's looking to be about 7 at the most per day.</p>
