start studying for December 2nd SAT?
I took an intense course all summer. hit 2080 or so. i have a LOT of material. study when? 2 weeks before? 3 weeks? ? OPINIONS? THANKS :)

2-3 weeks should be a decent amount, esp if you already took that course- you just need a refresher period (which 2-3 weeks should suffice for)

If you're serious about getting a good score, I'd be doing at least something every week, with effort ramping up as exam day approaches. It's not so much that x weeks are needed to "do well"; think of it more like each week is an opportunity to do even better and to make your life easier on test day. What score are you aiming for? What kinds of questions are you getting wrong?

I would take practice tests in individual subjects at the very least, if not full length tests; you should certainly go through all of the blue book tests if you haven't already.

Each week, you should take a test, figure out what you're doing wrong (by reviewing every question you get wrong or were confused about) and fix it by learning that material better and doing focused review/practice questions, and repeat the process :) That's all there really is to it. Keep doing real practice questions until you feel like you can do them in your sleep. Practicing the essay will also help you feel more comfortable thinking on your feet and will allay the feeling of terror that will arise when test day actually comes.

Thank you frenetic. I am aiming for 2200. But at least 2100. I see what you mean. Bump bump bump :) Thanks.
