In terms of sequence of tenses can it be both Conditional + Imp. Subj. and Conditional + Past Perfect Subjunctive?
Thanks!

Alright so past perfect subjunctive (pluscuamperfecto) is used when you’re describing something that happened before something else, when both things are in the past.
Ex. “Era una lástima que no hubiera estudiado inglés antes de ir a la universidad.”
Which means “It was a shame that he hadn’t studied English before going to college.”
So basically use it anywhere you would’ve used the present perfect subjunctive, except in the past.
You use conditional and imp. subjunctive together when doing “if” statements.
Ex. “Si tuviera dinero, iría contigo.”
Which means “If I had money, I would go with you.”
Thanks! I finished my spanish final exam, but this will be helpful going into AP Spanish Lang.!
