When does aid get disbursed?

Bumping this thread. Still not 100% sure how aid gets disbursed. Checked the FA site and found this, “Sign up for direct deposit by Tuesday August 30 for your Fall Quarter funds to credit your bank account at the beginning of the quarter, starting Thursday September 22.”</p>

<p>So the “adjusted amount due” gets disbursed when school starts? What about loans? I recall seeing something about aid getting disbursed on the 13th of this month.

<p>Basically once you accept your reward from the financial aid page, within a few days I think, the money will automatically go towards your tuition fees, and whatever is left over gets deposited into your bank account for you to use at your discretion (which is usually books, or other personal expenses).</p>
