I'm still getting the same score on CR and it hasn't "clicked" for me yet. Still getting the same amount wrong, still in the same score range. Biggest improvement I've had in recent memory was by 10 points. I've tried different methods, techniques, and everything but I'm flatlining. I've been studying for months.

There is no “click” in CR, at least for me. It’s just continued practice that helps. Switching techniques all the time doesn’t help either. Stick to one you’re comfortable with and improve on it. A “click” or a “switch” in your CR grade won’t change in one day. Just keep practicing and be determined!

Yeah but how long do you practice until your score will change? I understand that it varies for different people but I can’t be practicing for months and not seeing a gradual rise.

I’m getting 680-690

I do check my answers and I do understand why I get them wrong but it’s still not preventing me from making mistakes/misinterpreting in the future. At this point, I think it’s more of a mental block than anything. I’m always getting 3 or 2 wrong on a section. If it’s not the long passage questions I’m getting wrong, then its the short passage, and if its not the short passage, then its the vocab. It’s hardly ever consistent, so it’s not like I can pinpoint what I’m getting wrong to one part or one idea, although the pattern I’m most used to seeing is 1 wrong in vocab and 2 wrong in long passage. I always hear of people on CC talking about how one day it just “clicked” for them, and that “click” happened to me in Writing. For Math, I still gotta practice more, but I feel like I’ve outrun my course in CR and am long due a “click”.

I also have a problem with studying for CR. But it slowly gets better. I agree that a lot of reading and learning vocabulary is a got preparation for CR.

Yesterday I got an 800 CR in the first BB practice test, I’m usually in the high 600’s/ low 700’s.

Not sure how I did it. But I did keep telling myself not to pick an answer unless it’s supported by the passage.
It might have been a fluke (which is my worst fear).

My results are also varying sometimes. I am not sure why and I don’t like it at all.

Soooo frustrated

Today, I did a practice test and got 2 wrong on the first section. Ok, good start, one less wrong than I usually get in the 1st section of CR. On the second section I get 3 wrong - the usual amount of wrong I get on CR. Then, on the last section, I get 4 wrong, whereas I usually get 2 wrong on the last, 20 minute section of CR. What’s going on? The test somehow has a fixed amount of 9 wrong I get no matter what combination. I’ve seen everything… 2-3-4, 3-3-3, 1-5-3, 3-2-4, 4-3-2. F****** hell.
