UVA and Vtech released today, when does William and Mary release?

@Jake11, read our latest Admit It! blog (blogs.wm.edu/authors/admiss). It provides information on that very topic. It notes that we cannot predict when we will release in advance but also specifies that it will be by April 1 at the latest.

They just sent out emails!!

I just got one! Accepted, shocked! I am OOS though, I doubt I will get enough aid… :(

@Sootylion – I am not stalking you but happened to come into this thread as my son just got accepted here via email. So glad that you were able to get this notification!

I haven’t gotten an email yet…:(

just got my email! accepted i’m shocked. OOS and didn’t think my stats were good enough. wow!

Just got my acceptance.

Accepted! http://blogs.wm.edu/2014/03/26/decisions-decisions-2014-regular-decision-edition/

Just received my acceptance email!!! OOS

I wish I could join all of you! Unless I get one of that crazy selective 1693 merit scholarships with my letter I do not think I will be able to attend…

Son got accepted … now I am crying trying to figure out how to pay for his tuition being out of state.
It might be cheaper to move to Virginia.

wailisted:( but got into boston college. will never undestanf admissions process of college

Accepted OOS!!!

@gavealtocollege Yeah my parents were like “if you get in we could try to rent you an apartment in virginia to get you in-state residency, that would be cheaper than OOS tuition” idk if it is even possible to get in-state tuition if you move to Virginia after you get accepted, even when you reapply in following years though…

Got In!!! Great Feeling! Thankful for everything!

@sootylion - one or both your parents have to move there for you to get instate residency. I have not check VA but there might even be an one year wait period.

@sootylion, what is the biggest determination of residency is where your parents pay income tax to. The general rule is that they have to pay income tax to VA for one year in order for a student to qualify for in-state residency.

And those who are 1693 finalists (and actually all scholarship recipients) were notified earlier this month so unfortunately the thick envelope you get will contains lots of awesome stuff, but won’t have a scholarship offer.

Any idea when the financial aid package will be sent? I’m curious to know what the 14-15 tuition and aid (if any) for OOS is. WM website only has 14-15 tuition for In State.

@W&MAdmission Thanks so much for the information! This could be very useful in helping me make my final decision.
