I like the song reference haha. You’ve got good ECs especially if your soccer team is really top 25 in the country. However, your GPA and ACT scores might be a little low for a lot of the school on your list, but you could still get into a lot of them.
Northwestern University- mid reach
University of California-Berkeley- mid reach
University of Southern California- low reach
Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech)- high match
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor- high match
Vanderbilt University- mid reach
Purdue University-West Lafayette- match
University of Colorado at Boulder- low match
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville- safety

Chance me back?

^I’d say Michigan is a reach, since you are OOS.

For the most part I agree with Shaq395, although I would change NU to high reach and USC to mid reach, except for Michigan. That part I agree with jshain. Michigan is absolutely a reach, below middle 50% for both ACT and GPA do not make for a match. You’re OOS as well. Besides, have you thought how you’re going to pay for Michigan and UCB in the event you get in? Both are going to cost $50,000 a year to attend and neither are known to be particularly generous when it comes to financial aid.

Award for best Chance headline goes to:

Thanks for the chances guys! Well the money and reach issue has made me reconsider berkeley; its mostly my dad’s philosophy: MIT or my state school. We compromised at Uc Berkeley, because I am not a robot, although I doubt i’ll get into Berkeley either…

My parents are divorced, my mom is unemployed and has full custody. My dad isn’t paying for my sisters tuition at nyu(aid there is Crap, that’s why she isn’t getting any money) , so my moms using my college savings account. By the time I apply for fafsa, my mom says I’ll have $0 combined with unemployment.

Do you guys think that will give me good aid? I hope I’m (or my sister)not digging my college finance grave…

Haha glad I got your attention

You may want to reconsider UMichigan for the same reason you are reconsidering UCBerkeley. Going to your state school would be the wisest choice. Your great sense of humor should play well there as well.

Berkeley is a reach, but the rest seem like you have a decent chance! Best of luck!
