When is aprox. time of updating on the GMS application process?

I am just really anxious about this application, and I was curious, if anyone with experience could recall the time when they did announce finalist.

I’ve been told that finalists are announced mid-March. Best of luck to you!

Finalist notification in 2015 was around March 5th. 2000 finalists. More info was submitted at that point (mainly your financial stuff, as I recall)

The 1000 Gates Scholar winners were notified around April 15-20th or so.
