When is the FA question and demographics form due?

Hey guys, I was going through the Financial Aid section and noticed that I have to write 4 or 5 different essays to complete my FA form. Does anyone know when they are due?

While the Financial Aid Activity and Demographic Supplement for 2016 - 2017 doesn’t specify a due date, you should complete it ASAP. My guess is that students should submit it by June 1st. The essay questions are not that difficult and do not require long responses.

• List your major secondary school activities that you enjoyed and any leadership positions that you held:
• Tell us about one or two highlights from your academic experience so far. This could include your favorite course or course projects, research opportunities, laboratory work, senior thesis topics, or any other opportunity in the last year:
• Which activities have you most enjoyed? Have you held any leadership positions? Please briefly describe your key activities:
• Please note any additional extracurricular activities in which you plan to participate at Harvard College:
• Tell us about your most recent internship, work, study abroad, or travel experiences (both term-time and in the summer).
• Tell us about what you might do after graduation, including any plans for graduate school. What are your long-term career goals?:
• Feel free to provide any comments that you would like to share with your financial aid donors, or any further information that might interest donors. What impact has the financial aid program had on your Harvard experience?:

You should be able to knock that out in less than an hour.

About a paragraph is all that’s needed for each question – or at least that’s about the length my daughter submitted when she had to fill out the form. Ditto with my son for Yale’s version of the form.
