<p>Sorry, canindian, but it is NOT May 1st. Here is what I got from the fin aid rewards page:</p>
<p>“You may choose to accept or decline any awards or you may opt to come back at a later time and make your selection. While there is no set deadline to accept your awards, your aid will not be available until you do so. Please note, if you decline an award, it may not be available in the future.”</p>

<p>To watcollege?, if you’ve already accepted the cal grant, all that “unconfirmed” means is it is not set in stone on their part that they will give it to you (they most likely will, though), depending on any changes that happen and budget cuts, etc. But all you need to do is make sure you accepted it.</p>
