mine was updated on the 18th, and 19th, but then stoped......

anyone think tomorrow will be the day/ have any of you heard anything?

I have heard that tomorrow is the day from a friend.

a good friend indeed for sharing the info

I'm so scared I want to die. Haaaaa.

so rice will be sending out decision emails tomorrow?
i don't think cuz on the web it says like may 15 or something

dude, its most def true

last year, they sent it out via email April 29th

and tommorow is Friday, April 28th, its happening

hey all. i'm new to cc, and am applying to rice as a transfer. Bball, from what source-besides rice's date of notification last year-do you get your information? I spoke the the admissions office today, and was told they would be alerting applicants via regular mail, and wouldn't be sending out the decisions until the fifteenth of May.

That is the official answer, yes.

And that was the same answer I received last year... two days before I received my rejection.

Acceptances are sent via First Class mail.

to clarify, although that was the answer you recieved two days prior to being rejected, did you actually recieve your notification before or after the fifteenth? By not including the date that you were told the fifteenth last year, we readers are left in the dark

Huh? I was told up until the 27th of April that the decisions were coming on the 15th of May. I received my rejection e-mail two days later, and the rejection letter on the following Monday.

ok- that is more clear.

My apologies. I looked over my initial post and realized that details were wanting.

hmm... so tomorrow...
hey nspeds, did they send email in the morning or afternoon?

or is it that the rejections are sent earlier then the acceptances? And still, last year could have been an anomaly. perhaps the admissions people were ahead of schedule, or w/e.

I heard that they did it in the evening last year.

No. I was communicating over AIM with a fellow applicant, and she received her acceptance at the same time I received my rejection.

I need only one exception to instill doubt in your previous claim.
