<p>Rice received my application last friday (I`used track mail to find out). I have yet to hear back from them saying that my application is complete. I sent all the forms at the same time (thus I did not have an account beforehand). Does anyone know when I should be expecting to hear back from them? Is anyone in a similar situation? </p>

<p>It took about two weeks for me to get an email from Rice with a link and an ID and password that took me to a page that had my application status so I wouldn't worry too much. You could always call and find out, though!</p>
<p>I tracked my ID app also, and it arrived on Saturday - no word from the admissions office yet.</p>
<p>Hey Jimmy. When did you send in your app? I sent it on 11/30, so when should I be getting a confirmation?</p>
<p>It takes a little while for them to send stuff back...remember, they have thousands of applicants to review. But it'll be worth it when you find out about your admission decision months before everyone else does...</p>
<p>Chris, I sent it on the morning of 12/1, through Priority Mail with Confirmation, so it got there on 12/3. </p>
<p>I'm not really worried about it, since not time has elapsed, and also since the office has probably been busy with the ED apps.</p>
<p>I talked to Rice yesterday and they stated that on Jan 6 you will receive an email with instruction on how to access and check the status of your application for Iterim Decision.</p>

<p>did you enclose the postcard with your application when you sent it off. Because they will send it back to you saying that they have received your application. If in doubt call and ask for the admissions officer for your area and ask.</p>
