When should I reapply for FAFSA?

I am a current freshman undergraduate in college, and I am wondering when to reapply for FAFSA, knowing that it is required to reapply every year. Last year (my senior year) in October, I filed my FAFSA, and now my FAFSA covers for the entire freshman academic year (fall, winter, and spring), but should I reapply for FAFSA now, or wait until my entire academic year is over (June 2019)??

Also, is reapplying just meaning “to update” my information, or is it making a WHOLE NEW fafsa again for the 2019-2020?

You should reapply now. You can ‘renew’ and by using the same email and FSA ID, some of the form will pre-populate and save you time.

File it now, or way before the first year ends. You don’t want to miss school or state deadlines.

Now…do not wait unti school year ends. That would be too late for best chance for best aid.
