My first exam is in 2 weeks.. I'm taking Calculus AB and APUSH exams.. Should I start studying this weekend?

Also, how hard are both of the exams? We've been reviewing for Calc, and I've been bombing lots of stuff I was able to do during the year.

Yesterday :)

You need about 67% for a 5 on both.

You should have started a long time ago.

I just started studying this week, and next week I have calculus tutorials during school time due to CSTs :D.

If you understand the concepts and ideas, a moderate amount of studying should suffice in a 5, you really just nneed a 67%+ to get a 5

Is this a serious question?

Ironically, this topic reminded me of Allen Iverson’s little lecture on practice during thanksgiving day.

Practice? You’re talking about Practice? (from AI’s Philly days…)

D started an APUSH study group about 3 weeks ago. Her AP Spanish Lit is still finishing the lit…her teacher is awesome, and the essays they are assigned in class are very similar to what’s on the AP exam…I don’t think she’ll really study that much more, other than go over the review packets they are doing as homework now… (They took a practice AP exam as last semester’s final exam—yay! She got a “5” on that one!!!) She’s taking Honors English, but will probably spend a couple of hours looking at the question formats for AP English Lit (she did the same last year for AP English Lang, and got a “5”). AP Human Geography? Probably her weakest one, but her teacher has good passing rates in the past. Hopefully she’ll spend some time on that one, too!!!

start studying now!!! plan to have some sleepless nights due to overstudying because you really should have studied a month ago… but then two days before the test(s), get some rest so your body can accommodate to the extra rest, maybe even boost your grey matter activity for the test. NEVER STUDY THE NIGHT BEFORE THE EXAM. the only thing you should do is actually review and go to bed sometime around 9 at the latest!

Yep, I would start studying sometime yesterday. I’m taking practice tests for my APs for the next two weeks pretty heavily and I’ve studied over the stuff a lot already. You need to make sure you have a strong understanding of the material before you walk into the test room.
