Any suggestions on when is the best time to take the ACT? I am a Junior in HS and will be taking Pre Calc Honors this year, AP Chem, AP English ext... and I was considering taking the ACT for the first time in Decemeber and trying to increase my score from there. Does this seem like an appropriate time taking into account my classes?? thanks!

Have you taken trigonometry? You should definitely wait until you've learned all of that. If you have, then go for it.

I recommend taking it in the Spring of your junior year.

If you took trig recently, I think December would be an excellent time to take the ACT, while that's fresh in your mind. At this point, I don't think more classes are going to help you much. It makes more sense to me to take it in December and retake in February or April than to take it in February or April and retake next October, because you're likely to forget things over the summer. You can take it again next fall if you need a third try.

yes, I took trig last year...thanks for your suggestions!
