When should I transfer?

Slacked off pretty badly in high school.

~3.5 weighted (honors+AP's = extra point), honors/AP track

800V/760M/790W, 34 ACT

790's in Math2, Bio, US History

Currently a prospective math/CS major at Rutgers with a 3.85 first semester and thinking about transferring to a top 20ish school, but don't know when, considering my poor HS record.

Another thing is that starting second semester, my classes will be VERY difficult compared to most college students', since I am already taking some of the core math major classes (ones people usually take in their junior and senior years) my second semester. Do you think admissions counselors will recognize this? (Because there are much easier ways to get a 3.85 GPA.)

Bump.

Also, EC's:

I try to write.

I help with my dad's business ventures.

I did FBLA and DECA in high school and made it to the state/national level a couple times.

I played soccer pretty competitively. One of the reasons I'm not where I want to be is because I screwed up during the recruiting process.

I guess my life seems pretty boring on the surface, but so did the lives of the Bronte sisters'. I don't know if that excuse will work with adcoms though.
