When they say 2 page essay, what do they mean?

Do they mean double spaced, or single spaced?

<p>They mean it fits on two pages max in reasonable size font (at least 10; 12 is better). Just write the essay, see how long it is, and then decide how to space it. There are no rules about it, unless they are spelled out on the application form.</p>

<p>Rule of thumb is one page double spaced = 250 words.</p>

<p>i single-spaced mine, but i'm sure lots of people do both. if you think you'll do better with a longer essay, single-space it; if you think you'll do better with a short essay, double space!</p>
