I am Sahil from India. I would be giving the October SAT and I want to apply for Early Action to IVY league colleges. The problem is that we cannot take the SAT and Subject tests on the same day. So if i give the November SAT subject tests I won’t be able to mention my scores for my application as the scores would be released by the end of November.
Please suggest me what to do.
Check colleges to which you intend to apply. Those with early action or early decision with early November application deadlines are divided on the issue of last test date accepted for EA or ED. A number require all testing to be completed by October but others, including all ivies, accept through the November test date, although for those you will likely need to identify the college as one to automatically receive scores upon release in your November test application, which results in the fastest form of delivery, and thus send the scores before you know what the scores are. As far as what to mention in your application for admission, you would simply indicate that you are taking the subject tests in November.
